Rangavistara" – A Digital Tapestry of India

Rangavistara", meaning "Expansion of Colors" in Sanskrit, is a digital print collection inspired by the vibrant hues and rich cultural essence of India. This project celebrates the country’s festivals, traditional textiles, and artistic heritage, reimagining them through a modern digital lens.

Design Direction:

Color Story: A bold and immersive palette featuring fiery saffron, deep indigo, fuchsia pink, turmeric yellow, and emerald green, echoing the vibrancy of Indian celebrations.
Motif Inspiration: Inspired by traditional Rangoli, Madhubani, and Phulkari embroidery patterns, fused with contemporary digital layering, watercolor fluidity, and abstract textures.
Cultural Fusion: Incorporating elements from Indian festivals like Holi and Diwali, architectural intricacies from palatial frescoes, and the rhythmic symmetry of textile block prints.
Modern Interpretation: A mix of pixelation, digital brushstrokes, and gradient blending to bring a fresh, futuristic appeal to heritage designs.
